A free toolkit for digital investigations
SYP Investigation Centre brings together the everyday checks investigators, enforcement officers, fraud analysts and journalists need, in a fast, private and free web toolkit built by SYP Tech Solutions in Malaysia.
How it works
Most tools use modern browser technology (WebGL, WebAssembly and on-device AI models) so analysis happens on your computer or phone. Evidence files are never uploaded. Online lookups use our server as a safe intermediary, so suspicious links are never opened in your browser and your IP address is not revealed to the target.
Good practice
- Always work on a copy of the original evidence and record its hash (use the Hash Calculator).
- Use the report button on each tool to keep a dated record of what you checked.
- Treat every automated result as a lead to verify, not a conclusion.
- Report scams in Malaysia to the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) on 997, and check accounts and phone numbers on the PDRM Semak Mule portal.
